Be More Chill - Broadway Across Borders

The Purple Key team participated in Be More Chill Sarajevo, the first Broadway musical translated, produced, and directed by Bosnian artists for a Bosnian audience. The project is part of the multi-year initiative Broadway Across Borders, which, through workshops, mentorship, and cross-cultural projects, provides local artists access to professional training and international musical theatre standards.
Be More Chill Sarajevo provides young artists with the opportunity to take the lead, while Purple Key ensures a visual identity that connects tradition, creativity, and international musical theatre standards.
Our approach and methodology
Through an intensive mentorship program with experts from the U.S., local emerging artists take leadership roles, becoming the country’s first generation of professional musical theatre performers. Purple Key contributed creatively by developing the Key Visual, promotional materials, and digital strategy, ensuring cohesive visual communication for the project.
Be More Chill Sarajevo tells an energetic story about self-acceptance, self-expression, and navigating identity in a world shaped by AI and cybersecurity, giving teenagers a chance to see themselves on stage and discover theatre as a space for creativity and connection.
The project was realized in collaboration with the University of Sarajevo, Sarajevo Youth Theatre, Ministry of Culture and Sports, Terra Art, UNFPA, and the Roberta Buffett Institute, with creative contributions from Purple Key Agency.
