Migration to Microsoft 365 Platform
During April and May 2024, Purple Key Agency’s IT team successfully delivered a comprehensive digital infrastructure migration project for Sarajevo Open Centre transitioning to the Microsoft 365 platform. As the client had not previously used this environment, the project required careful planning and execution across several key phases.
Today, the client uses the platform to its full capacity, benefiting from improved internal communication, more efficient collaboration, and enhanced data security,making this project a strong example of successful digital transformation and a sustainable long-term solution.
Our approach and methodology
The process began with the setup of a fully new Microsoft 365 environment, tailored to the organization’s needs, followed by the creation of user accounts and the configuration of access permissions. In parallel, DNS records were managed to ensure that all email traffic and collaboration workflows were routed through the new platform, with minimal disruption to daily operations.
One of the most demanding phases was data migration, which involved the secure and precise transfer of email communication, archives, and files from the previous system. Special attention was given to maintaining data integrity and ensuring business continuity throughout the process.

Following the technical implementation, a detailed verification of all migrated content was conducted to confirm full consistency and system functionality. The project was finalized with user training, enabling teams to effectively utilize Microsoft 365 tools in their day-to-day work.
